Le Parfait Paris in San Diego, CA is looking for one assistant pastry cook to join our strong team. If you are passionate about High Quality Pastries, desserts,macarons, gelato we are your place. This is the perfect position for newbies in the industry that are motivated and looking to develop their skills in the Pastry World. You will be working directly with our french Corporate executive Chef and the rest of the team. We work with high quality ingredient and brand new equipment.
We are located on 3555 India Street 92103. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, reliable and engaged.
Hours: 9am-5:30pm
Days: flexible, must be available weekend and holidays
About 40hrs a week

Possibility to Grow within Company
Position between $18-$20/hrs based on experience.
Responsibilities
Work with different preparation from SCRATCH; mousses, biscuits, custards, creams, tart crusts, cream puffs, puff pastry
Work on the croissant production: croissant dough from SCRATCH, rolling, cooking.
Must be able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Must be punctual, organized, focused and attention to detail.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of PROFESSIONAL experience in the Pastry Field or come from Baking school with apprenticeship completed.
Home baking does not qualify for the position
Must have a valid SD Food handler license
