Onsite This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Lockport, New York on a full-time basis.
The Role The
Site Quality Manager will support Shop Directors to continuously improve, define and approve all and new Global Ops requirements. This role is onsite. The manager will also collaborate across all manufacturing disciplines to drive common and standardized manufacturing launch quality system requirements, procedures, metrics, and standard methodologies. Addressing Manufacturing requirements upfront in Global Product Development process and PQRRs and will support all launch improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for the quality for the entire plant.
What You'll Do- Drives strategy and implementation of large projects impacting multiple departments.
- Is accountable for workforce planning, operational and often financial decisions in the area managed.
- Sets objectives and owns the delivery of metrics and Key Performance Indicators that have direct impact on the achievement of the results in the job area, have measurable contribution into functional results and align with the GM strategic priorities.
- Champions change management and role models GM's behaviors necessary to maintain a productive team without inhibiting individuality and personal diversity. Influences others within and/or outside the organization that are skeptical or unwilling to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
- Builds a team with the optimal mix of talent and experience. Makes internal and external staffing decisions, supports, and guides individual development of direct reports and their teams, drives performance.

- Minimum of 5 years of testing and integration experience
- Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 5 years of quality experience
- Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience
- Working experience with API ,CAN Bus ,Python, C/C++, Java ,Data Analysis, EMI/EMC testing, Ethernet Interface (Computing), Jira (Software), Robot Framework, Software Deployment, System Integration, Wire shark and X-Ray
- Hands-on leadership expertise with in-depth knowledge of communication networks, including but not limited to CAN and Ethernet
- Hands-on leadership expertise with in-depth knowledge of software testing on MCU and high compute (SoC) devices
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge - Understanding of Vehicle Electrical Architecture and Subsystem configurations Experience with data analysis such as but not limited to CAN & Ethernet Log review, DTC and other diagnostic modes (DID/RID/IODIDs etc)
- First-hand experience with controls integration, system integration and IRTs
- First-hand experience with End-of-Line, Programming, Static and DVT testing
- Experience with using instrumentation such as a tube amp along with developing the instrumentation
- GM organizational aptitude and experience with IRTs, SW VSEs, and PLSIE roles
- Deep experience with existing software tools such as but not limited to IntrepidCS / NeoVI / RadMoon / Gigastar, Robot Framework, WireShark
- Knowledge of common problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, Red X, Shainin, etc.)
- Ability to safely operate laboratory equipment
- Microsoft Power BI
- Minitab - Intermediate or Advanced Skills
- Strong Built in Quality knowledge
- Understanding of ISO/IATF
This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is: $137,800.00 - $211,200.00 . Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
