Roles and Responsibilities:
- Consult with prospective clients and maintain strong client relationships.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Participate in depositions, site inspections, and all phases of discovery.
- Prepare cases for trials, arbitrations, and mediations, with opportunities to serve as lead counsel.
- Brief and argue motions and appeals in court.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in New York.
- 2-5 years of civil litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000, based on experience.
