The Position: We are looking for a candidate who will be performing the role of a Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting the Cargo Helicopter product office.
The Location: Redstone Arsenal, AL

The Description:Other duties/ responsibilities may include:
- Experienced judgment for problem solving procedures and development of new approaches for the CH-47 weapons platform.
- Technical knowledge of maintenance techniques, procedures, and directives associated with Army aviation maintenance aided during the review process of Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL) data received from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and contractors.
- Ensures RPSTLs are developed properly from the Provisioning Master Record (PMR) and parts information is accurately reflected in Federal Logistics Database (FEDLOG).
- Ensures Source, Material, and Recoverability (SMR) codes of repair parts accurately reflect the Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and tasks are reflected in the appropriate Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM).
- Uses Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to ensure life cycle cradle to grave management and sustainment of end items and their components.
- Coordinates with representatives from Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD), Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), AMCOM Logistics Center (ALC), and partners in Industry concerning customer requirements and concerns over sensitive and/or complex maintenance issues that may impact the War Fighters requirements.
- Respond/provide solutions to DA Form 2028s in a timely manner.
- Responsible for responding/providing solutions to DLA Form 339 on the behest of CCAD.
- Able to review/interpret/assess/redline OEM/Vendors/Distributors Drawings.
Education & Experience:- Active DoD Secret Clearance, required.
- Bachelor's degree with eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- ALLOWABLE SUBSITIUTIONS:
- High School/GED with thirteen (13) years of experience.
Travel:- On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
