Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality, direct billable services to clients in our clinic. This part-time, billable-only position allows flexibility while focusing exclusively on client-centered services. The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), deliver ABA therapy, and collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure optimal progress.
This role is ideal for BCBAs looking to provide hands-on clinical services without additional administrative responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Services & Treatment Planning:
- Conduct comprehensive behavior assessments to identify skill deficits, problem behaviors, and environmental variables affecting behavior.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings and client needs.
- Deliver direct ABA therapy to clients in the clinic setting.
- Monitor client progress and modify interventions as needed based on data analysis.
- Provide family training and consultation to support generalization of skills outside of therapy sessions.
- Ensure all interventions align with ethical and professional standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Collaboration & Team Support:
- Work closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy.
- Participate in case reviews, client meetings, and treatment planning sessions as needed.
Data Collection & Compliance:
- Accurately collect, analyze, and report data to assess intervention effectiveness.
- Maintain up-to-date client records, including session notes, progress reports, and assessment results, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Adhere to state, federal, and insurance guidelines for documentation and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (Required).
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (Required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA therapy to individuals with disabilities (Preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, strategies, and functional behavior assessments (FBA).
- Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and conducting functional analyses.
- Proficiency in data collection, behavior tracking, and progress reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize caseloads, and manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Understanding of confidentiality and privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, BACB ethics).
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Flexible, part-time schedule based on billable hours only.
- No non-billable administrative duties required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Occasional Physical Requirements (1-3 hours per shift):
- Sitting, standing, walking, simple grasping, power grasping.
- Pushing, pulling, reaching above shoulder, waist, and below waist/knee.
- Bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, driving a personal vehicle.
- Rare Physical Requirements (0-1 hours per shift):
- Hand and wrist work, keyboarding, fine manipulation.
- Climbing stairs, lifting/carrying 1-50 lbs.
- Behavioral Considerations:
- The field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) may involve direct contact with individuals exhibiting aggressive and/or challenging behaviors, such as spitting, hitting, kicking, or throwing objects.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment that may require physical intervention strategies following safety protocols.
