Position Purpose
The Vice President of Product Management is the primary product owner for made-to-order and stock product categories, responsible for:
- Providing strategic leadership
- Driving controllable parameters for vitality and profit generation
- Overseeing all products manufactured by the company (stock bath, storage, stock framed kitchens, and frameless kitchens)
- Determining key elements of the product roadmap
- Directing product lifecycle activities for stock products
- Ensuring Product Management best practices are followed from inception to discontinuance
Essential Functions Leadership
- Provide thought leadership and strategic vision for the stock product management team
- Lead product strategy, development, and implementation aligned with company strategy and 3-year product roadmap
- Contribute to annual strategic planning for the product line
- Ensure recruitment and engagement of a well-trained product team
- Lead project teams and efforts as assigned
- Contribute to profit profiles through value proposition, positioning, pricing, and investment recommendations
- Manage the stock Product Management cost budget
- Handle confidential and proprietary information discreetly
Product Process
- Manage product lifecycle for platforms and categories
- Lead New Product Development Process
- Contribute to innovation by identifying opportunities and collaborating with appropriate teams
- Identify and define market opportunities based on consumer insight, competitive intelligence, and industry trends
- Recommend new product categories and adjust existing products based on market insights
- Partner with channel management to support Voice of Customer (VOC) while maintaining standardization and efficiency
- Leverage production platforms to drive revenue and profitability across channels
- Collaborate with other functional areas to improve product and platform performance
- Lead or prepare Product Managers for Product Steering Committee presentations
People Management
- Lead the Product Management Organization
- Oversee organizational development, advancement, and succession planning
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the Stock Product Management team
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of marketing leadership experience with consistent contributions and successes

- Process-oriented with experience implementing and evolving product management best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Ability to build effective business relationships
- Capacity to generate and articulate clear vision, milestones, and requirements
