POSITION TITLE: Jr. Compliance Monitor/Data Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Refugee and Immigrant Services
REPORTS TO: ASIP/HAU Program Manager
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Some
off-hour (early morning, evening, weekend) duties may be assigned.
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
PAY RATE: $29 – 31 per hour

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Works under the supervision of the ASIP/HAU Program Manager. The Jr. Compliance Monitor/Data Analyst provides support to management staff and CCDSD administration by assisting and fulfilling complex reporting requirements for CCDSD funding sources. This position contributes to the efficiency and compliance of grants and program policies for Refugee Services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conducts research, compiles, and extracts statistical data reports to support program activities and effectiveness
- Check records for accuracy and completion as they are created and processed through 3CMS
- Work with Intake Team on payment batches created through 3CMS throughout the month
- Maintains records and prepares statistical data for program needs
- Identifies and develops appropriate instruments for data collection to ensure accurate reporting per grant requirements; identifies appropriate statistical methodology for data analysis
- Serves as the point person(s) for collecting error messages and database issues from internal staff and subcontractors and coordinates database maintenance requests and testing, as needed
- Provides training and technical guidance and support to staff by maintaining and updating database procedures and training manuals and assisting with troubleshooting database issues
- Participates and consults in meetings with management concerning data needed for grant reporting, program planning, and program monitoring and evaluation
- Identifies programmatic areas for focus and targeted review
- Demonstrates relevance and clarity of written and oral expression
- Works with minimal supervision
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or demonstrated coursework in the following areas: statistical theories, formulas and methodology, research and evaluation methods, database development with MS Access, statistical computer programs combined with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Prior experience or knowledge of methods and techniques used to research, collect, compile, categorize, analyze and evaluate statistical data and information
- Proficiency with Access database and ability to create queries in Access
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Query, VLOOKLUP, and Pivot Table
- Consistently produces work within acceptable standards
- Demonstrates relevance and clarity of written or oral expression
- Possesses exceptional decision-making and time-management skills
- Knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Knowledge of internal and external auditing concepts, techniques, methods and procedures
- Willingness and aptitude to learn and apply new computer applications

- Valid California Driver’s License
- Current automobile insurance
