👨🍳 Assistant Chef Responsibilities:
- 👥 Train and mentor kitchen team members
- 🍽️ Ensure meal efficiency and high-quality food production
- 📦 Manage food purchasing and budgets
- ⚖️ Maintain consistency and portioning of all menu items
- 🛠️ Oversee upkeep, repair, and maintenance of kitchen equipment
✅ Required Skills:
- 🔥 Experience in salad, fry, grill, and expo stations
- 📋 Strong organizational and leadership skills
- 📦 Ability to order inventory within budget and manage vendor receipts
- ⏳ Punctual, proactive, and excellent communication skills
- 💪 Positive attitude and a passion for teamwork
🔧 Essential Functions:
- 🥗 Operate multiple kitchen stations efficiently
- 📖 Ensure strict adherence to recipes and presentation guidelines
- 🧼 Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen
- ⚠️ Follow safety and sanitation procedures
- 🗣️ Be a team player and demonstrate effective communication
⚙️ Working Conditions:
- 🚶♂️ Standing and walking for long periods
- 🤸 Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- 🏋️ Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- 🌡️ Exposure to varying temperatures (hot kitchens, freezers, outdoor conditions)
- 🧴 Handling FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
📆 Schedule & Benefits:
🕒 Full-time: 5 days a week, including weekends and holidays (40-45 hours per week)
