Role Description
Nova Measuring Instruments is seeking a skilled Buyer to lead the Oracle Cloud Procurement implementation for our Materials Metrology Division. This role will focus on sourcing and procuring high-quality materials and components needed to build semiconductor capital equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials procurement within the capital equipment industry, strong supplier management expertise, and familiarity with implementing and optimizing Oracle Cloud Procurement systems. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the build of capital equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of all required materials.
Pay Range: $85,000- $115,000 Annually (DOE)

Responsibilities
Materials Procurement
- Lead the procurement of capital equipment, including semiconductor fabrication tools, test equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Conduct supplier analysis to identify competitive pricing, optimal contract terms, and compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand material specifications and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and long-term partnerships that support division goals.
- Implement supply chain risk management strategies, including alternative sourcing options and contingency planning to mitigate potential disruptions.
Order and Inventory Management
- Oversee the procurement process, from RFQ to purchase order issuance and supplier delivery management.
- Track and manage order status, resolving discrepancies or delays to keep production on schedule.
- Collaborate with warehousing and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with engineering, finance, quality assurance, and project management teams to ensure the procurement strategy supports broader project and business objectives.
- Provide accurate lead times, cost estimates, and supplier capabilities to support project planning and cost forecasting.
- Ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory guidelines, including procurement policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare procurement reports, analyze spend data, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize sourcing strategies and performance.
- Support budget planning and forecasting for materials procurement, helping drive cost savings and efficient allocation of resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials procurement, ideally in the semiconductor or related capital equipment industries
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and procurement practices for materials and components.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
