Off road shop located in El Cajon/Lakeside area that specializes in restoration and racing of vintage off road race trucks. These are my personal projects, not customer vehicles.

Qualifications:
Individual has generalized knowledge of auto repair, removal and installation of vehicle components, engines, transmissions, axles etc.
Well rounded knowledge of off road racing and fabrication, welding and tube work
Must be able to fabricate, and plumb and wire an off road race car
Previous wiring and diagnostics a plus
Have the ability to think outside the box
Have reliable transportation to and from shop
Have a reasonably clean driving record.
Shop maintains a clean shop area and expectations are to keep a clean work area
We work in a safe environment
Preferred to bring on an individual with 3 to 5= years experience but will TRAIN the right person.
Attitude is good
Position requires someone with a passion, drive and patience it takes to bring these vehicles from the ground up
Needs to have fantastic customer service, warm, approachable manner, great listening skills and a drive to help in any way you can even on tough days when things go sideways
Impressive attention to detail
Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
Standing for periods of time up to 4 hours
Able to work under a vehicle under jackstands
Must be able to wear appropriate PPE, safety glasses, gloves and steel toe boots
Ability to perform physical requirements and acclimate to work environment
Hourly wage is based on experience/skills. Shop hours are 9am or 6 pm and are flexible based on workload
Some weekend work may be needed and or/ travel to and from desert
Riding in race trucks is available but not required
