Description Under the direction of the Managed Care Operations Assistant Director, the Application Manager (AM) will be the primary expert in support of the application. As the AM, you will play a critical role in overseeing the coordination, maintenance, optimization, and implementation of functionality within our application. You will serve as the primary expert in supporting the application and ensuring its alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage the team that designs, builds, tests, and support new applications and modules within their portfolio and/or service line
- Demonstrate expertise in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or relevant project management methodologies
- Ensure adherence to test and change control procedures throughout the application lifecycle
- Take ownership of the delivery of the application project portfolio and ensures the team has the requisite skills to support the application
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other EHR AMs to maintain build consistency and optimize end-to-end workflows
- Work with business owners, vendors, and ISS team members to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests
- Identify training needs for team members and lead efforts to enhance their application knowledge
- Work closely with application trainers to ensure accuracy and relevancy of training materials for end users
Applications Supported: EPIC Tapestry and other related software in support of Medicare advantage health plan administration.
Salary Range: $ 124,600 - $289,400/Annually
