Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing behavior intervention plans and providing direct care. Your work will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve through the application of applied behavior analysis techniques. This is a PART-TIME position, with hours ranging from 15-20 hours per week for 1 in-home client (no traveling between homes of clients). This is an ideal position for someone who's currently in school or has a second job already.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined by the supervising behavior analyst
- Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors
- Collect data on client progress and behavior using specified methods
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to each individual's needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide behavioral therapy interventions to address challenging behaviors effectively
- Support individuals in activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in working with people with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Experience in medical documentation and record-keeping
- Understanding of behavioral health concepts and interventions
- Ability to conduct data collection and analysis for behavioral assessments
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
Requirements:
- RBT Certification
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
