Responsibilities
- The Sr Designer plays a key role in shaping and maintaining the visual and strategic expression of the Brand for Web.
- Creating, editing, enhancing and revising design across a variety of web/digital platforms, such as websites, apps, and partner websites. Projects may range from merchandising efforts to marketing campaigns and digital micro-experiences.
- This role will apply UX best practices to ensure user-centered design that enhances usability, accessibility, and overall customer satisfaction.
- On occasion, may review, edit, and assist in providing feedback on digital design, ensuring that our creative messaging aligns with digital & brand style guidelines.
- Will work directly with our digital copywriting team and other visual designers, plus marketing/merchandising/advertising teams, project managers, and other digital team members.
- This role will understand the intersections between development, UX, content strategy, and design and strive for a better way to deliver the best digital customer experience.
- Design and edit web, social, marketing, and merchandising creative for complex/high-profile projects that meet brief requirements, including quick-turn creative requests.
- Abide by our team processes and best practices; including file naming, folder maintenance, and handoff, while maintaining tasks and agendas autonomously.
- Design user journeys, web flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI mockups with a strong focus on conversion and clarity.
- Present creative to T Studio Web team leads, business partners, stakeholders, and creative leadership during creative reviews, communicating best practices for design and reasoning behind creative decisions.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design is on brand and in line with expectations.
- Contribute to, and assist in leading, the creation and evolution of design resources and tools, such as style guides, onboarding manuals, and templates, in addition to brand guidelines.
- Guide, coach, and mentor junior team members, assist in providing feedback on lower priority/less complex projects, help with onboarding, and act as a SME on projects and campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams and senior leadership to continuously evolve our process and resources.
Qualifications :
- 6+ years of relevant design experience in an agency or corporate environment with formal design training and a strong portfolio showing previous experience with digital design.
- High-level understanding of digital design principles, UX principles, current design trends, and industry best practices.
- Understanding of the capabilities and constraints of web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.)
- Thrives in a collaborative, ever-changing, and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent at prioritizing multiple assignments, especially as it pertains to feedback delivery.
- High-level collaboration and communication skills including the receiving, giving, and implementing of feedback.
- A creative point of view with a passion for pursuing innovative ideas.
- Experience with A/B testing or sequential advertising strategies, and the ability to optimize creative performance based on data, results, and KPIs.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to collaborate more effectively with developers, prototype ideas, and contribute to front-end quality and performance.

Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
