Reporting directly to the GVP Talent & Culture, the Manager, T&C BP, will be pivotal in driving our T&C initiatives across the region, ensuring alignment with both local and international requirements to support the growth and strategic objectives of Ocean. This role demands a deep understanding of the employment lifecycle, encompassing onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and compliance, while focusing on enhancing employee experiences and operational efficiencies.
As a leader in this capacity, you will design and implement competitive Learning and Development Programs tailored to regional market dynamics, ensuring we attract, retain, and motivate high-performing talent. This individual's collaborative approach will enable Ocean to work effectively with various stakeholders both regionally and globally, fostering strong relationships that facilitate business objectives and regional growth. This individual will:
- Oversee and enhance internal T&C systems, processes, and databases to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources in support of T&C initiatives.
- Global Learning and Development management responsibility encompassing designing and deploying the regional schemes in best corporate learning market competitiveness in attracting, retaining, and motivating employees for high performance.
- Design, implement, and update company policies and employment contracts that reflect local regulations and global standards.
- Maintain compliance with legal requirements and monitor key T&C metrics to track effectiveness.
- Serve as a trusted consultant to managers and staff, guiding them on T&C policies, labor regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the T&C team globally and lead implementation initiatives such as performance reviews and employee learning programs.
- Address and resolve employee queries related to compensation, benefits, and labor regulations.
- Source and manage relationships with external partners to enhance T&C service delivery.
- Foster strong business relationships at all organizational levels, both locally and globally.
- Align people strategies with the GVP T&C, proactively sharing insights, opportunities, and challenges.
- Lead the Recruiting cycle for all positions in the Americas and EMEA.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality in all T&C and business operations.

- 5+ years of experience in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business, or related area.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Management Role.
- Self-starter able to think and act independently to translate general objectives into tangible results.
- Strong internal customer focus and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Strong Networking and Relationship-building skills - internal and external.
- Able to work independently with little guidance.
- Excellent listening and team management skills.
- Experience with contractual negotiations and managing strategic partnerships is preferred.

- Experience with human resources information systems (P&CIS).
- Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring, and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.
