Hiring Immediately - Full time work for a Non-Union Company
Hourly rate will be based on experience (see below for requirements/job duties) WE will pay good money for experienced laborers.
We are a demolition and concrete replacement company which is licensed to work in the states of California, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. We are looking for immediate hires that are willing to travel. We pay Per Diem/travel and transport you to job sites when traveling out of town. We do work local also which is considered southern California. Our shop is in Orange County, CA
JOB DUTIES for DEMOLITION AND CONCRETE LABORERS:
Demolition Laborers:
Expected Duties for Interior strip out & Exterior work of a commercial building:
- Roof work: Removal of AC units and other materials and roof penetrations
-Removal of ceiling and ceiling cavity material interior
-Removal of demising walls, material on demising walls and interior partition walls and soffits
-Floor machine (flooring removal)
-Work on and operate scissor lifts/boom lifts
- Exterior demolition of commercial buildings
- Concrete removal: Saw cut, break and remove
-Clear debris and trash from assigned site by broom, vacuum or with bobcat
-Operate hand and power tools of all types: jackhammers, handsaws, ring saw, flat saw, core drill, wall saw and Sawzall)
Concrete Laborers with the following skill set for small to large jobs:
-Read and understand plans.
- Set proper elevations: Measure, mark, shoot grades, set stakes, and layout areas where construction work will be performed.
-Grading and grade check elevations for subbase.
-Concrete forms: Build and position forms and brace properly, strip and clean forms.
-Placing and tying rebar per plan or specifications.
-Operate hand and power tools of all types: jackhammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, flat saws, core drill and handsaws
Other duties for both trades:
-Load, push, and unload wheelbarrow
-Lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs)
-Bend and stoop for long periods of time
- 2+ years of operating bobcats and excavators
- Have your PPE's and understand site safety standards
-Valid driver license and clean driving record preferred by not required.
We are willing to pay for your experience level and willing to train laborers who have some but not all skills noted above. All our laborers are crossed trained for both concrete replacement and building demolition.
