Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced RFP Proposal Analyst with a strong background in managing the proposal process for government contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
This role requires a deep understanding of government procurement processes, compliance requirements, and proposal development. The analyst will work closely with our dedicated RFP Team to ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
No security industry experience? No problem! As long as you have experience working with RFPs, we will provide full training on our security services, industry regulations, and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Management: Lead and manage the entire proposal development lifecycle, from analyzing RFP/RFQ/RFI requirements to final submission, ensuring that all proposals are compliant, competitive, and professionally presented.
- RFP Analysis: Review and analyze RFPs from federal, state, and local agencies to understand scope, requirements, evaluation criteria, and any special conditions related to security services.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the RFP Team and other internal departments (sales, operations, legal, and finance) to gather necessary information and ensure all proposal components align with government regulations and client needs.
- Content Development: Write, edit, and organize proposal sections, including executive summaries, staffing plans, compliance strategies, and pricing models that highlight American Global Security’s strengths and capabilities.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all proposals comply with government regulations, guidelines, and industry standards while maintaining high-quality documentation.
- Proposal Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on all proposals to ensure clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy, while keeping up with strict deadlines.
- Proposal Repository Maintenance: Maintain and update a repository of past proposals, templates, and standard content that can be reused or adapted for future submissions.
- Post-Submission Follow-up: Track the status of submitted proposals, respond to clarification requests, and assist in contract negotiations.
- Market Research: Conduct research on government procurement trends, security contract opportunities, and competitor activities to position American Global Security as a market leader.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in RFP development and proposal writing for any industry (government procurement experience preferred).
- No prior security industry experience required – training will be provided!
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and compliance requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.
Skills Required:
- Writing and Editing Skills: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to develop clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content.
- Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in ensuring proposals meet submission requirements and compliance standards.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally with the RFP Team and other departments to align proposal components with company objectives.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, English, Public Administration, or a related field.
