Hotel La Jolla’s new penthouse dining experience with breathtaking ocean views is looking for a hungry Supervisor to join our team.
This position will also assists in banquets and will be eligible for tips and gratuities.
Focused on meticulously crafted menu that highlights the bounty of coastal California.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS &; REQUIREMENTS:
-One to two years of increasingly responsible food and beverage experience in a hotel environment is required.
-Prior supervisory experience is desired.
-Ability to work on AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts as required by operational needs
-Requires ability to lead others in the department by mentoring and providing training that results in staff that meets/exceeds guest expectations and provides a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Oversee food production at all stations, assisting line cooks, as needed
- Demonstrated strong leadership and teamwork skills and abilities
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
-Reliable and predictable attendance
- Food Handlers Card / ServSafe Certification
- College degree/Culinary school degree preferred, but not necessary
