Since 1996 Magic Jump Rentals Inc is the leading inflatable party and event rental company providing rentals of inflatable bounce houses and water slides. We have over 200 rental orders on any given weekend so we are looking for someone with management and warehouse experience to cover existing shifts.
We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager for our Sylmar, Ca Rental Warehouse location. Full-time hours available. Must be available for the weekend shift.
Warehouse Assistant Manager will have broad responsibility for operations including but not limited to Inbound, Outbound, inventory management, and people engagement, as well as maintaining our rental equipment- which includes Inflatables (bounce houses, water slides, and obstacle courses), tables, chairs, carnival games, etc.
A candidate with prior warehouse fulfillment or stock room operations experience is an ideal fit, as this role will require you to lean into your experiences on how to effectively manage associates, contractors, and inventory. Four key areas that you'll always focus on are safety, quality, customer experience, and time management.
As a front-line leader, you will be the main point of contact for many Magic Jump Rentals support teams requiring excellent soft skills. Through these relationships, you will invent new strategies that will help improve our associate and customer experience. As an Assistant Manager, it is expected that you will be able to operate in a highly ambiguous environment, communicating and interacting with your direct Operations manager, and Assistant Managers, on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
Directly supervise warehouse associates of up to 15 employees.
Prepare, locate, and maintain individual items for delivery loads.
Read and understand a packing slip to prepare outgoing items.
Locate products using the name and/or serial numbers.
Moving products within warehouse facility using Hand Truck Dolly, Pallet Jack, or Fork Lift (if certified).
Cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining products following LA County health department guidelines.
Working in a team environment to efficiently package required orders.
Must be punctual and be ready to work, on time!
Must be able to stand/walk 8 hours daily.
Must be able to lift, push-pull more than 40Lbs.
Previous equipment Cleaning and/or Warehouse experience a plus.

* Required: Valid Drivers License.
Management: 1 year (Required)
Occasionally delivering products from our warehouse facility, using company vehicles, to complete customers orders. (Valid is defined as; Driver license is not suspended, and you are legally able to drive a vehicle).
