We are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, and passionate individuals to join our team as Canvassers. In this role, you will engage with members of the public in person to raise awareness, promote a cause or campaign, collect information, and/or encourage participation or donations. Canvassers play a vital role in building support and spreading the message of our organization at the grassroots level.
Responsibilities:
Engage with the public in residential neighborhoods, on sidewalks, or at events to discuss the organization’s mission or campaign goals.
Clearly and accurately communicate key talking points, facts, and benefits.
Collect signatures, contact information, or donations as required.
Answer questions and address concerns in a friendly, respectful manner.
Record data and submit daily activity reports to the Field Manager.
Meet daily/weekly outreach and performance goals.
Represent the organization professionally at all times.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Outgoing personality and comfortable talking to strangers.
Passionate about [cause/policy/product] and motivated by outreach work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and goal-oriented.
Physical stamina to walk or stand for long periods in various weather conditions.
Previous canvassing, sales, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule:
