Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Apartment Maintenance Plumber to join our property maintenance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, repair, and upkeep of plumbing systems throughout a residential apartment complex. You'll troubleshoot issues in occupied and unoccupied units, as well as maintain plumbing in common areas to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and emergency plumbing repairs in apartments and shared facilities (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms)
Diagnose and fix leaks, clogs, water pressure issues, and other plumbing-related problems
Repair or replace water heaters, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and shower fixtures
Ensure all plumbing systems (supply and waste) are functioning properly and up to code
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to avoid costly repairs
Respond quickly to service requests and communicate effectively with residents
Maintain clean work areas and respect the privacy and property of residents
Assist the maintenance team with other general tasks as needed (e.g., drywall patching after plumbing repairs)
Keep records of repairs and parts used, and report supply needs to the supervisor
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (if applicable)
