ResponsibilitiesWe have an excellent opportunity for an APN looking to practice inpatient Palliative Care in the western Chicago Suburbs with UChicago Medicine AdventHealth.
- Full time with flexible schedule, as long as it meets the needs of the department
- One Saturday per month to be available for any consults which would come in
- No Call
- Medication and symptom management for palliative patients
- Must be comfortable working with families and having discussions about care for their loved ones

- Annual Salary: $105K - $118K
QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:- Master's degree in Nursing
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
- ACLS Certification, required
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
