Turnover/Make Ready Specialist - Maintenance Technician I

F&F Property Management is seeking an experienced Multifamily Turnover/Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our expanding team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will contribute to the efficient turnover and maintenance of residential apartments.
Responsibilities
Complete "make-ready" process for vacant apartments including pre-move-out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and performing quality inspections.
Prepare units for incoming residents, including painting and repairs.
Update AppFolio with detailed work order statuses and notes.
Maintain excellent resident service standards and communications.
Manage and track work orders efficiently.
Communicate promptly regarding project delays or challenges.
Recommend process improvements.
Track inventory, manage supplies, and notify supervisor of reordering needs.
Complete accurate and timely documentation for service requests.
Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, pressure washing, and painting.
Support cost-cutting initiatives by repairing rather than replacing when possible.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid Driver's License with current insurance and registration
Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience (required)
Fast yet thorough approach to tasks
Proficiency or willingness to learn basic plumbing, electrical work, patching, and painting
Prior experience with AppFolio software preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proactive, team-oriented mindset with positive attitude
