Skillset Group is looking for a skilled Mechanic with experience in rewinding and refurbishing motors. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with electric motors, including diagnostics, rewinding, and reassembly.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rewinding on AC and DC motors to restore functionality
Refurbish motors by cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts (bearings, brushes, windings, etc.)
Inspect and diagnose faulty motors (winding, insulation, electrical/mechanical components)
Test and calibrate rewound/refurbished motors to meet manufacturer standards
Replace and repair defective parts (coils, stators, rotors, windings)
Reassemble motors after repairs, ensuring all parts are correctly aligned
Maintain records of all work performed
