Field Service Technician – Mechanical Repair & Troubleshooting
Location: Greater Los Angeles Area (East Side Preferred) Schedule: Training: Tuesday-Friday, 11 AM - 9 PM (Four 10-hour days) After training: Tuesday-Friday Compensation: Starting at $25/hr, increasing to $29/hr after six months Company truck provided after six months
Job Overview:
Top Gun Staffing is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with strong mechanical and electrical expertise. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing industrial and car wash equipment, including bearings, sprockets, pumps, motors, and gear-driven systems. Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical components such as bearings, sprockets, pumps, and motors
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical system failures
Utilize hand and power tools for mechanical assembly and disassembly
Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and performance
Maintain and repair car wash equipment, including motors, control systems, and hydraulics
Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and vibration analyzers for troubleshooting
Safely operate and maintain company-provided truck after six months
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean record (company truck provided after six months)
Experience in mechanical repair or maintenance
Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and control panels (preferred)
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform preventive maintenance
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (preferred)
Reside in the Greater Los Angeles area, preferably on the East Side
Comfortable commuting and working independently in the field
