Specific qualifications:
We are looking to fill an open position at our learning center. We will take under consideration applications from reliable individuals with the ability to work with young students during class hours. Working quickly and accurately is a requirement of the position. Patience and the ability to work with a maximum of two young children at a time is a prerequisite. Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday afternoon availability is critical for a qualified candidate. $20.25 to start with no previous Kumon experience and the potential of up to $23.50 with relevant Kumon experience and/or proven excellent administrative and customer service skills and with an ability to work closely and accurately with supervisors and customers.

Kumon Math and Reading Center of West Hollywood is in need of an EXPERIENCED learning center assistant. We are searching for bright, motivated, outgoing and friendly, QUALIFIED individuals with EXCELLENT math and reading skills and a desire to help students reach their full potential in a fast-paced team oriented environment. Preference is given if you have RECENT tutoring, teaching, or Kumon experience. If you have availability on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:00-6:00 pm, we will be adding an assistant in the near future to grade classwork/homework and assist with general class operations. Other requirements:
-reliable transportation to the Sunset Strip, no onsite parking available
-willing to commit to a minimum of six months, 1 year preferable
-MUST enjoy working with children and their parents
-PREFERENCE given to candidates with prior Kumon or tutoring experience and/or university degree in relevant field of study, high level competence with up to university level reading and math
-be willing to submit to a background check
