Overview
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of the recruitment process, including job description creation, and posting, sourcing and candidate identification, communication and candidate experience, reference checks and background verification, offer management, data management and reporting in our applicant tracking system (ATS), and providing support during the onboarding process.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with recruiters to craft accurate and compelling job descriptions that effectively communicate job responsibilities and requirements.
- Ensure consistent formatting and branding in all job postings.
- Post job openings on company website, job boards, social media, and other relevant platforms.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify potential candidates.
- Review resumes and applications in our ATS to shortlist candidates who meet the job specifications.
- Maintain regular and transparent communication with candidates to provide updates on their application status and guide them through the recruitment process.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring smooth logistical arrangements.
- Coordinate and conduct reference checks to verify candidate information and suitability for the role.
- Collaborate with HR to facilitate background checks in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in preparing employment offers, including compensation details and benefits information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Generate regular recruitment reports, including metrics related to sourcing, candidate flow, and time-to-fill, to provide insights to HR and management.
- Assist in the onboarding process for newly hired employees by coordinating necessary paperwork, introductions, and training schedules.
- Ensure a seamless transition for candidates from recruitment to becoming active team members.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or related roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Work to be conducted from a corporate office.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Frequent use of computer with repetitive use of keyboard, mouse and manual dexterity.
