Nightingale Senior Care is needing caregivers to help care for our clients for weekend shifts, Saturday and Sundays are the days we have shifts available for our caregivers. Nightingales pay rate varies with each client having different needs ($18-20) an hour and we pay EVERY FRIDAY! We have shifts of all hours from morning shifts, day shifts, evening shifts and over night shifts. Requirements:
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS+ OF SENIOR CARE EXPERIANCE -
- HCA REGISTRATION (HOME CARE AIDE) -
- LIVE SCAN (CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK)
- TB TEST (TUBERCULOSIS TEST ) or CHEST X-RAY
- LEGALLY PERMITTED TO WORK IN THE USA
- LICENSED DRIVER WITH RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
- RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, COMPASSIONATE AND FRIENDLY
Responsibilities:
-Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Patience and empathy
- Assist with activities of daily living including; help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols
- Uphold clients rights while providing care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need
- Strong communication skills and the ability to listen actively
- Capability to handle responsibilities efficiently and effectively
- Knowledge of memory impairment
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them is essential
