Commercial door service company looking for a new service technician/crewman
Job Duties:
Inspect, service, troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair all commercial doors (Man Doors, Roll Up Doors, Automatic Doors, Fire Doors). Troubleshoot mechanical and electric door hardware. Coordinate with Dispatch and serve as the primary point of contact for customers. Assist with larger jobs in coordination with Field Service Manager. Complete detailed work order at the end of each assignment.
Job Skills:
MUST have some ability to take equipment apart and put it back together, mechanical aptitude, contruction, auto, maintenance skills or similar trade skills.
• Communicate clearly and effectively.
• Follow all safety procedures in performing work.
• Door Installation or related experience is not required but is a plus. Training is provided.
• Good customer service skills are required.
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain company-provided equipment.
• Must have knowledge of safe power tool operation, electrical wiring, troubleshooting.
• Must be able to work on a ladder at various heights.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Pay will be based on related experience.
