Metro Metals NW, a leader in the scrap metal industry is currently looking for Class A & B drivers for our Portland, Oregon, Vancouver, Washington & Tacoma, Washington locations. Roll-off, Flatbed, End Dump and Dry Van experience is helpful, but we offer training. The majority of our routes are local which allows our drivers to be home with their families more often. Over night roll-off routes are also available.
We are also looking for a Yard Hostler with backup Driver responsibilities for our Portland location. This is an on-site position with the option of filling in for other roles. You will operate a specialized truck built to easily move trailers in tight areas, weighs and positions all containers and trailers for loading. This position would drive a roll-off truck to weigh and dump drop boxes.
Requirements:
- Valid class A or B license
- DOT Medical card
- Clean driving record
Able to drive manual transmission (10 and/or 13 speed)
Able to drive a single roll-off truck
Strong safety skills
A general knowledge of the local area.
