Summary
The position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), Office of Criminal Investigations (OCI), New York Field Office, Boston Resident Office. As FDA's criminal law enforcement and intelligence arm, OCI is responsible for protecting public health and furthering the FDA mission by investigating suspected criminal violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) and other related laws.
Duties
- Supports administrative programs and works with the supervisor to identify the need for planning, organizing/filing, tracking/recording data and conducting analytical studies based on examination of the program's needs.
- Serves as a source of information and guidance on time and attendance matters, ensuring accuracy and conformance with applicable regulations.
- Serves as an advisor on transportation management matters.
- Acts as the primary or alternate imprest fund cashier for verifying and processing cash payouts for assigned field office region.
- Acts as a liaison to managers and staff within the organization to provide accurate advice on procedures, reports, requirements, and other matters necessary to implement the supervisor's policies, directives, and instructions.
- Drafts, consolidates, and distributes a variety of documents prepared by professional staff.
- Coordinates incoming data from a variety of sources and ensures data is complete and accurate.
