Overview
As the Lead Compensation Analyst, you will assist with the administration of Dycom’s compensation program. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting on data to assist Dycom leadership with decisions regarding compensation philosophy and practices. You will be responsible for managing complex, high-profile compensation-related projects.
What you will do...
Assist with administration of employee compensation programs including base pay, bonus and long-term incentive pay, working closely with the HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance and Operations teams
Plan, administer and execute all annual compensation cycle activities, including serving as a resource for management to assist with making informed decisions
Conduct market analysis and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and management to ensure compensation offerings are aligned with market and internal equity
Manage and execute on complex, high-profile projects related to all facets of compensation
Provide high level customer service regarding inquiries and concerns to HR leads, management and employees. Counsel on best practices, provide strategic guidance, and ensure quick resolution.
Evaluate jobs to ensure they are slotted appropriately within Dycom’s job architecture and salary structure
Review FLSA status to determine appropriate classifications
Assist with the development and maintenance of job profiles
Provide reporting, analytics, and KPI tracking to ensure compliance with Dycom’s compensation philosophy and to understand market and internal compensation trends. Use data to provide recommendations for compensation strategy
Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits
Participate in compensation surveys, compile data, complete analysis, and present findings
Provide guidance and training, as necessary, to less experienced/tenured staff
Who we are looking for…
You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent experience
You have 8+ year’s prior compensation experience
- You have superior data analytics and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and an expert understanding of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
You must be highly organized and able to manage time well in order to meet deadlines
You have demonstrated ability to manage complex projects
You have strong communication and presentation skills
You enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
You may have a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Professional Human Resources (PHR), and/or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
You may have working knowledge of process improvement methodologies
