Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Administrative Coordinator.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for coordinating/managing administrative activities for staff and ensures efficient administrative operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partners with leadership in the development and execution of goals and objectives, and serves as the primary point of contact for division-specific administrative project requests
- Coordinates day-to-day administrative activities in support of physician leadership, including scheduling, refund and correspondence processing, and project coordination to ensure efficient outcomes
- Manages calendars, makes complex scheduling arrangements involving multiple parties and conferences under minimum direction. Coordinates meetings and conferences (including teleconferencing and video conferencing), cancel meetings based on knowledge of the subject and attendees. Recognizes and identifies information that can be disseminated and to whom, assists with special events planning.
- Designs division-specific resources, policies, procedures and protocols which ensure productive and efficient operations
- Manages data and information from various sources, prepares reports based on information compiled, responds to requests for information; summarizes database on information compiled from various sources
- Acquires professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; Anticipates needs and takes initiative by leveraging newly acquired skills
- Coordinates travel logistic arrangements and itineraries as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends
- Gathers, enters, and/or updates data to maintain departmental records and databases, as appropriate; establishes and maintains files and records for the office.

Additional Position Specific Responsibilities:
Attend meetings, as needed, which may start earlier or later than standard work schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree required with 2 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must also possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of standard office software is essential, including proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet and database software (e.g., Microsoft Office, preferred). Ability to multi-task and/or coordinate multiple assignments is required. Ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures, and effectively communicate detailed information to a diverse population, both verbally and in writing; excellent problem-solving skills is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience administering office operations in a healthcare setting preferred.ffice operations in a healthcare setting preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $82,680.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
