About the Role
A Top 100 independent insurance broker seeks an accomplished Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their North Carolina division. Working in their middle market business group, you’ll be exposed to a variety of complex accounts, many you’ve likely encountered before along with others in unique/emerging risk categories.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as client contact and respond to client needs and questions
- Coordinate the renewal process including marketing activities with underwriting partners
- Oversee accurate and timely completion of policy management (endorsements, certificates, cancellations, audits, reports) in conjunction with other account managers and support/CSR employees
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and billing issues
- Provide coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiate with carriers and prepare proposals
Location: 100% remote for experienced candidates living in Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
Experience Requirements: Minimum five (5) years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience in client management. Middle market account exposure is required as is an active state insurance license.
