Machine Operator - 1st and 2nd Shift
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in a manufacturing facility In CERRITOS, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand and power tools in a factory or warehouse setting.
Qualification:
2+ years manufacturing experience as an operator
Problem solving skills: able to identify machine issues, attention to detail
Mechanical incline: minor repairs on the machines
Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time
Multitask, ability to work on different areas, with good organizational skills
Plastic production preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or similar environment is preferred
Familiarity with assembly line processes and procedures
Experience operating forklifts is a plus
Job Duties:
Operate and maintain machinery in a manufacturing environment
Monitor machines during operation to ensure optimal performance
Work on an assembly line to produce goods efficiently
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues as they arise
Operate forklifts to transport materials within the facility
Ability to learn quickly and train helpers on multiple machines
Quality control checks
Coaching and training employees
Safety - Reports unsafe conditions, uses equipment and materials properly.
