Healthcare Risk Advisors has an opportunity for a Product and Services Manager to join our Data Strategy team. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our offices in New York, NY two days a week.
Position Mission: The Product and Services Manager will play a crucial role in the development and execution of innovative data-driven tools that enhance the organization's competitive edge. Your role will involve managing the product (and services) lifecycle from ideation to launch, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver products, and helping with translating complex data insights into actionable solutions. You will play a key role in aligning Data Strategy's products with business goals, ensuring that data assets are leveraged to create value for our clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare-related data analysis, data strategy, or similar, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Knowledge of insurance products and services, healthcare data (including EHRs and medical billing data), and risk management
- Experience in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of data-driven products, from ideation to launch
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms, BI tools, and data visualization techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL)
Responsibilities:Product and Services Management - Oversee day-to-day management of products and services to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic priorities and department goals.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
- Oversee delivery of data analytics projects from inception to completion to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
- Ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet operational demands and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with Data Strategy lead to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Development to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Statistical Analysis & Presentations- Manage the process for delivering data to clients that have elected to pursue Data Analytics and Risk Management
- Assist with the Databricks and Power BI platforms to optimize data analytics capabilities with our current data assets and third-party datasets.
- Consistently develop and produce new innovative visuals and data stories
- Assist internal and external teams with leveraging data insights
Customer Service and Collaboration- Serve as primary point of contact to ensure a strong, strategic partnership by understanding client needs and expectations, anticipating challenges, and delivering tailored analytics solutions.
- Engage with internal and external clients as needed to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and address any concerns.
- Participate in client meetings to present insights, discuss deliverables, and ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Maintain working relationships and service support HRA and other SBUs
- Seek opportunities to improve service, quality, and analytic capabilities to support our internal customer departments
Technical Knowledge and Professional Development- Completes any training required to maintain or advance the skills set necessary to achieve professional, department, or company goals
Other Duties as Assigned- Assists with a variety of department and company- wide projects.
- Makes oneself available for any and all duties.
- Accepts delegated tasks readily and completes assigned duties as directed.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000Compensation varies based on skills, knowledge, and education. We consider factors such as specialized skills, depth of knowledge in the field, and educational background to ensure fair and competitive pay.
