Qualifications

• Able to use knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment/tools
• Some exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, and humidity
• Reaches, bends, squats, and frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs
• 5 years or more experience
• Obtain Food Handler Certificate within 30 days of hire
Responsibilities
• Prepares and marinates all food items to order, following recipes
• Works one or more cooking stations that may include falafel, kabob, rotisserie chicken, and sandwich/plate preparation and breakfast
• Measures and assembles ingredients required for preparing recipes
• Cuts and/or portions food products
• Uses scale to ensure proper portioning of food items
• Stocks/restocks items
• Maintains clean dishes and other wares
• Rinses and cuts raw food products
• Receives and stores food supplies and equipment
• Communicates with Team Members and Management throughout the shift regarding the status of orders and availability of the product
• Understands and complies with food safety and temperature standards
• Maintains cook line area in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner
• Cleans, organizes and maintains refrigerator, cooler drawers, freezer and prep, and dry storage areas
• Rotates product according to “First In, First Out” to maintain shelf-life standards
• End of the shift, give a report and keep the station clean /help staff as needed, wash dishes, take the trash out, and mop floors.
