The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond!
As a Lead GSRP Teacher, you’ll:
- Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
- Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
- Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Grant requirements.
- Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or related
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
- The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
- The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
