Essential Responsibilities:
• Software analysis, design, development, and customizations of software applications on IBMi.
• Develop Design and test cases.
• Prepare project technical delivery documents such as Technical Design Documents, analysis.
• Documents, Unit Test Reports, and others.
• Actively participate in software quality Engineering process activities.
• Stakeholder interactions daily.
• Mentor junior resources and provide technical guidance as and when required.
• Production Support and other maintenance activities on IBMi.
• Participate in daily stand-up or equivalent calls.
• Provide accurate timely status reports.
• Work under agile frameworks including but not limited to Kanban and Scrum.
• Any experience of support IBMi-based ERP packages would be added advantage.
• Perform the production code promotional and other change management activities.
• Providing technical leadership to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about programs.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s Graduate in Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of total experience is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Essential skillset:
• Operating System: OS/400,WINDOWS
• Languages : RPGLE, COBOL, CL400,CLLE, STORED PROCEDURE
• Database : DB2/400
• ERP : MPICS, BPCS, JDA (Preferred)
