Along with leadership, will assist in the management of the day-to-day clinical operations of the genetic counseling team and genetics program. Ensures the delivery of coordinated, up-to-date, and timely patient care at multiple sites/offices and provides education and support to the network and surrounding communities. Job DutiesCoordinates face-to-face counseling sessions, e-consults, and telehealth services.Coordinates provider and communication education on perinatal risk assessment and perinatal genetic counseling.Coordinates with an interdisciplinary team in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient. Develops, supervises, and coordinates genetic counseling services and perinatal genetic education.Educates patients and families in regard to genetic disease and provides professional support and counseling, as necessary.
