The Role
Our company and HR team are transforming and growing, and we need a strong HR Business Partner to help drive that growth. This is a dual role in which the Business Partner will support the Finance and Legal executives and their teams, as well as manage and close escalated Employee Relations investigations within the US. You will work with the regional HR teams to drive key HR strategies impacting business performance within the functions. These include organizational design, compensation cycles and retention strategies, employee and leadership development and workforce planning and performance management coaching. In this role you will use your knowledge of HR to diagnose, implement and confer on HR processes and programs, and work with other members of the HR team to drive enterprise and function-wide initiatives in support of the G&A business strategy and goals. As a Business Partner, you will need a strong ER background and experience leading and closing investigations.Your Impact
- Responsible for the successful implementation of key programs and HR initiatives, such as talent reviews, succession planning, on-boarding, hiring, operational improvements and employee development planning.
- Cultivate strong and influential working relationships with client leadership team and internally with HR COEs and regional HRBPs.
- Coach and counsel leaders and managers. Provide tools and guidance that enable management effectiveness and drive high organizational performance.
- Assess, design and implement change management strategies/programs for BU initiatives; brokers with partners to provide the right resources for the initiative to ensure successful outcomes.
- Manage ER issues and conduct investigations, consulting with manager on complex matters and investigations; provide recommendations and guidance at the conclusion of investigations.
- Compile relevant information regarding ER issues, investigations and other matters, and develop detailed and summary information and reports, including those for programs, processes, and procedures.
- Work closely with in-house employment counsel and Business Partners to identify and track organizational ER trends and propose solutions that will assist managers in designing improvement strategies; track implemented strategies
- Maintain a positive ER climate by promptly responding to department or employee questions or concerns, addressing issues proactively.
- Help create training on compliance with HR policies and procedures.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience required.
- 12+ years of experience in a similar HR Business Partner role.
- Minimum three years of experience in Employee Relations Investigations.
- Experience solving people and employment-related issues and can pivot quickly.
- It is expected that the individual be data-driven, through a combination of intelligence, experience, and information, and be able to drive systemic improvements over time.
- Proven capabilities in guiding organizations through periods of change. Demonstrated ability to align HR programs to business goals and objectives in a high growth environment.
- Partner closely with management teams and HR Business Partners on ER-related concerns, including employee discipline, underperformance, and other related matters.
- Experience working for a global technology company and experience supporting a global sales organization, preferred.
- Strong operational background focused on the design and implementation of transformational sales programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships with employee at all levels.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and application.
- Planning, organization, and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
