Salary Range: $37.3800 - $57.4600 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Payroll Auditor will work in conjunction with Payroll management and will perform to ensure compliance with all company policies, and wage and hour requirements are being followed through the Time and Attendance application. The Payroll Auditor will be responsible for supporting management with auditing the Time and Attendance application. In addition, the Payroll Auditor will be expected to handle special projects as assigned, successfully meeting all required deadlines associated with such projects.
Key functions include:
• Perform audits using Time and Attendance system and HRIS Systems
• Create and identify audits for inconsistencies and abnormalities that occur within the Time and Attendance System
• Compute audit results and preparing audit reports
• Research payroll records and reports,
• Schedule and coordinate audit appointments with leaders
• Keep current on all hospital pay policies and has the knowledge to provide correct information to leaders
• Ability to maintain confidential information
Education and Experience - 3-5 years' experience in Payroll or related field
- Knowledge of State laws dealing with overtime, compensation. etc.
- Working knowledge of State and Federal Labor laws
- Kronos application experience required; Dimensions experience preferred
- Lawson application preferred
