Supplies GBU Finance Analyst
Description -Job SummaryThis is a key role supporting the Supplies business organization. In this dynamic role, the analyst will strategically partner with other cross-functional stakeholders on projects that affect both near and long-term goals and objectives. The role will work independently but also excel in working collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Skills required to be successful in this position are strategic thinking, comfortable with ambiguity, and have ability to perform complex financial analysis. The analyst should also be a strong collaborator who can partner with and present to different organizations - Future Product Marketing, R&D, BU finance, supply chain, and factory. The role drives process improvements, provides expert counsel, and mentors lower-level employees, contributing to operational and strategic success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive financial leadership and business decisions for Supplies to meet revenue and profit objectives. Develop insights and recommendations to share with the team.
- Critical financial and business model thinking & analysis to help drive products and programs from idea phase to market or implementation.
- Build robust financial models that provide insights into profit profile
- Strong communication and presentation skills are a must as this role will work with various levels of management, both in finance and the business, and must be able to clearly relay results of analytical projects
- Skills required include strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge with the aptitude to extract information from the existing business systems
- Knowledge of accounting principles
Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
