Job Overview:
New Dimensions in Technology, Inc is presently searching for an impressive BACKEND Software ARCHITECT with a minimum of three years of experience. This is a “newly” created role reporting into the Vice President of Engineering who demands in all his hires a very high benchmark of technical and human excellence.
If you are interested in being presented for this opportunity, we would require you to:
(1) have a deep understanding of backend technologies, architecture patterns, and software design principles.
(2) take on the responsibility to drive the technical direction of backend services.
(3) collaborate with product owners.
(4) interface, guide, mentor offshore engineering teams.
Requirements for this role:
- 3+ years of experience in backend software development and architecture, with at least one year in a senior role.
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Python and expertise in databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Proven experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Strong understanding of Agile development practices and experience working in a Scrum or Kanban environment.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps principles.
This position is located in the BOSTON/CAMBRIDGE area. You are required to be in the office 3 days a week (HYBRID).
