This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic leader for our Business Systems Transformation and Operations team. This critical leadership role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Technology. The right candidate will serve as a strategist, advisor, and champion of change, focusing on the transformation and operation of our core business systems across Finance, Procurement, Asset Management, FP&A, Supply Chain, HRIS, Treasury, and Customer Relationship Management. This leadership role includes building and overseeing a team of 25 full-time employees (FTEs) and involves partnering with business stakeholders to develop and execute a forward-thinking transformational roadmap. Speed of execution, decisiveness, domain and platform expertise, and customer focus are core leadership qualities this role will possess.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leadership & Strategy:- Partner with senior leaders across the organization to understand technology needs in business functions, align strategic objectives, and provide expert recommendations.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap for transforming core business systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
- Develop and manage a staffing plan to both manage the legacy platform and build up the new platform support team and expertise.
- Act as a change agent to spearhead system transformations across ERP, CRM, and other business-critical solutions.
Transformation and Operations: - Lead the transition from legacy systems to new, integrated business platforms, ensuring smooth implementation and employee adoption.
- Oversee the operational management and continuous improvement of the core business systems post-transformation.
- Collaborate with both internal business units and external vendors to drive technology solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Customer-Centric Focus: - Deliver exceptional, technology-agnostic customer service to key functional stakeholders.
- Lead critical discussions with users, addressing issues and providing optimal solutions.
- Facilitate communication and engagement to ensure successful technology adoption and changes.
Performance and Improvement: - Implement continuous improvement initiatives, setting clear outcomes and success measures for technology operations.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for enhancing technology service delivery.
- Maintain a deep understanding of emerging technology trends to inform strategic decisions and investments.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 8+ years of proven leadership experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional teams and major business system projects, including experience influencing senior leaders.
- 5+ years of program management experience specifically within ERP, CRM, or similarly complex systems, ideally within the manufacturing or supply chain sectors.
- Extensive background in business planning, strategy development, and technology implementation within a complex organizational environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including advanced facilitation, collaboration, and executive presentation capabilities.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels and with key external partners.
- Experience managing budgets and tracking KPIs for substantial, mission-critical initiatives.
- High integrity, trustworthiness, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
- Innovative, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence/Wiki, and agile project management methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with discrete manufacturing technologies and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of Costpoint ERP, Exostar, Coupa Procure-to-Pay, and Windchill PLM systems preferred
- Demonstrated success in transforming and optimizing finance, supply chain, HRIS, and customer relationship management systems.
Compensation Range for:
CA applicants is $228,403.50-$319,764.90;WA applicants is $228,403.50-$319,764.90
