This role of the Busser will be to provide exceptional service and assist our Servers in our Events and Banquets at the Upper Club. The ideal candidate will provide great customer service and relationship building. You will set-up and assist in the food service dining room at the highest standard and work well in a team environment. A high level of professional bussing or serving and customer service skills are required. We offer a competitive hourly rate in a non-tip environment.
Essential functions:
Greet members and guest and assist with seating.
Sanitize and set and reset tables before, during and after service periods.
Stack and stock side stations with dry goods, extra chine settings and silverware.
Anticipate guests needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
Prepare and serve beverages.
Remove dirty dishes from tables between courses and clear tables after guests leave.
Buff and polish glass and silverware where necessary.
Replace silverware for next course.
Manage clean and dirty linen.
Return dirty dishes to dish washing area.
Manage correct stacking of dirty items.
On occasion, may assist staff in serving tables.
Complete closing duties as assigned.
Manage buffet table service and refills.
Physical demands and work environment
• Able to stand for long hours, bending, lifting and reaching over.
• Ability to use hands, fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear.
• Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
Environmental Factors
• The team member is exposed to working around food and beverage equipment and cleaning chemicals and degreasers.
• The team member may be exposed to outdoor elements for long periods of time.
-Work Hours: This position is a part-time, hourly position with varied shifts and hours, on weekends and some holidays.
