Position Summary:
Assures the delivery of patient care with the skills of an experienced Registered Nurse. Position responsibilities include ensuring continuity of patient care, serving as a resource for subordinate staff, facilitating problem solving, assisting with Quality Improvement Activities, staff education and assuring compliance with established policies and procedures and other duties as assigned.
What is required to be successful in this role:
- Graduate of a Program in Nursing at Bachelors of Science level or higher required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required upon hire
- Arizona Registered Nurse and/or Compact State Registered Nurse required
- Minimum of 2 years as director of Surgical Servicesin a critical care hospital required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association required upon hire
Nice to have:
- Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred
- Master's degree preferred
- 5 years in Surgical Services t leadership or leadership in critical care hospital upper management
- Moderate Sedation Certification preferred
