If you love children, have an extra bedroom or two and want to make some extra $ while being part of a very rewarding experience, consider hosting with us. Our programs are typically about a week long, and there could likely be several groups back-to-back, allowing families to earn some good money. We have groups of international students and teachers coming to attend educational programs in the Walnut/Diamond Bar area each winter and summer, with the possibility of more in the spring.
You provide a loving and clean home, breakfast each morning, dinner each evening plus a ride to the local school each morning and a ride home each afternoon. In some cases we will ask families to provide a packed lunch and pay the higher nightly rate as noted in the compensation for doing so. All applicants will need to undergo a criminal background check through a secure third-party background check provider as well as a brief home visit by one of our staff.
Families with one extra bedroom can host two students in separate beds and families with two extra bedrooms can host four students in separate beds. We do several programs in this area each year, so there will be ongoing opportunities. Some of our current host families have been hosting for us since 2014.
