Proactive in tracking, forecasting, and communicating all aspects of the business to the Partner Manager What You’ll Do/ Day In The Life In the role of Junior Partner Manager (JPM), you will immediately become a key member of the NBA Experiences team working closely with the Partner Manager, product development team, event operations, marketing team, and the NBA Global Events team. Initially you will have the responsibility for preparing event budgets and forecasts, leveraging the participation and input of many across the business. In addition, you will track current and trending results of NBA events compared to budget with regards to pacing of revenue and costs. In time you will develop deeper engagement across the company and within the NBA. As you continue to develop a knowledge and expertise of the business, you will be relied upon to take on an active role in strategy development, revenue generation, relationship management, and an overall leadership position on the NBA Experiences team. Essential Job Duties & Functions Collaborate with Partner Manager to ensure all aspects of the partnership are covered and serviced. Proactively track event results vs. budget, communicate with Partner Manager and across multiple departments. Be a subject matter expert on financial elements of each NBA event including ticketing, revenue, expenses. Develop strategic relationships and rapport both internally and externally to promote NBA Experiences and offerings. Understand NBA Experiences strategic plans and goals to align and continue to drive and build revenue in growth areas. Collaborate with Partner Manager & Product Development Team to formulate new products that drive revenue and add strategic value to each event Work closely with Operations to track efficiency, cost analysis, and make adjustments in real time to support P&L Work closely with Marketing to stay within timelines of messaging, communication, on-sale dates, etc. Proactively identify the need for new products through customer feedback and make strategic recommendations for implementation Work with Business Intelligence team to maintain all information pertaining to competitors and products of a similar nature Responsible for support in event budgeting in a cross-functional role Work with Finance team to track pre-event financial performance to ensure financial targets are met, and deliver overall results post-event.
