Join our team as a Maintenance Assistant in our machine shop! In this role, you will assist the maintenance technician with routine maintenance and repairs for assigned machinery, equipment, and facilities. CNC experience is preferred, but optional. Applicants must have some type of maintenance experience to be considered; we are willing to train on the rest!

Full-time: Monday - Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm
Pay Range: $18.00-$25.50 per hour.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment and building systems.
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Moves materials, equipment, or supplies.
- Tests equipment and troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Lubricates equipment to allow proper functioning and cleans parts and tools to maintain them in good working order.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities and work areas.
- Follows all safety procedures and protocols.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to follow instructions from management.
- Maintenance experience required.
- Knowledge of shop machinery and repair preferred.
- Must be able to use hand tools, power tools, and operate a forklift.
- Must be able to use a pallet jack, vacuum, and drum vacuum.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to communicate and interact effectively in English
- Experience in the repair and upkeep of CNC equipment preferred.
- Must be able to prioritize safety including proper use of safety equipment and an understanding of safety protocols per machine and within the shop environment.
- Basic computer skills
- Must be dependable.
Physical Demands: Job duties are performed in an open warehouse environment (and occasionally outside) with a wider range of temperature variation than would be expected in an office environment and frequent exposure to fumes and chemicals.
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, and kneeling.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent walking, twisting/turning, reaching (over the shoulder), grasping, and crawling.
- Occasional bending, squatting, climbing, sitting, reaching (outward or overhead), fine dexterity.
ITAR Requirement: This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The candidate must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR.
