Position Overview:
This position will report directly to the Senior Regional Manager of HR. The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will primarily be responsible for processing new hire paperwork, maintaining and updating electronic employee records and ensuring I-9 compliance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing new hires and employee status changes in a timely, accurate manner in the HRIS System
- Partner with management to obtain incomplete paperwork
- Respond to inquiries from employees regarding hiring status
- Partner with the payroll department to resolve pay issues in the field
- Type email correspondence as necessary
- Complete the online I-9 process with Support Center new hires
- Maintain and update a data entry handbook
- Ensure internal policies are adhered to such as, new hires, change requests including minimum wage changes, required new hire paperwork, compensation policy approval rules and limits
- Keep management appropriately informed of area activities and any significant problems
- Assist with file audits as needed
Qualifications
- At least 2 years' relevant experience
- Previous experience with an HRIS; Ultipro experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Understand methods, practices, terminology and procedures used in human resources
- Understand State and Federal laws, concerning human resources administration
- Work confidentially with discretion
- Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated organization, strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Proven ability to compile data for correspondence or reports
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit and / or stand for long periods of timeMust be able to sit and / or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 15 lbs
